My parents have always said when I first started talking, it was in complete sentences. While I can't confirm the accuracy of that piece of family lore, I like to believe it shows I've always known the power of a good story. And In my nearly 15-year career as a news reporter, I've seen that power firsthand through my work at TV stations across the country and, most recently, in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Whether I'm covering the impact of local policies, severe weather, or crime trends - my goal is always to lead with empathy and integrity. I know how to analyze and translate complex issues into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives. Working well under pressure is second nature, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once. I can communicate just as effectively in person, through a camera, or on stage in front of thousands, driven by a desire to connect and to understand.

Storytelling is my superpower.

I grew up in Arlington, Texas (go Rangers!) and graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and Political Science.

When I'm not working, I'm enjoying time with my husband and three young girls. We love to explore new places around North Texas, go on hikes with our sweet dogs, and host parties for our family and friends. I'm an avid reader, so if you have any book recommendations - send them my way!

I'd love to connect with you on Facebook or Instagram.
